Presenting at the ICA in London

21 06 2013

The International Communication Association met this year in London. In fact it is still going on at the moment. I had the honor of leading the opening plenary about the influence of cultural studies on communication research. And presented our research about Fitna, and about IMPRINTS in different sessions. It was also quite a rewarding surprise to come out as the most prolific scholar of the conference: http://www.rodrigozamith.com/2013/06/12/visually-exploring-the-2013-ica-conference/. People wondered how I did that, but I did not do much, simply said yes to every panel invitation I got, and then the panel chairs in fact deserve the credit for getting their panel accepted. So thanks to Brian Loader, Francois Heynderikx, Jeffrey Jones, Cornel Sandvoss, Paddy Scannel and Radhika Gajjala for inviting me.
